The average person typically sheds about 100 hairs a day.
The actual numbers may vary from person to person but typically anything more than 100 hairs per day is considered balding. In the chart above, the group that used Zenagen ® decreased their shedding significantly as opposed to the group that used nothing. In fact, by Week 8 most of the Zenagen ® users had broken the 100 hair per day threshold and were losing less hair than they were growing. After 16 weeks, the Zenagen ® users showed very healthy shed counts of 80-90 hairs per day.
